Caring for a Loved One

A support group for caregivers to help them cope with the stress involved in providing care to a loved one while attending to all the other family demands. How does one "step up to the plate", attend to all the family demands and not lose oneself? We'll talk about this and other related issues. Meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm in the D'Youville Center for Advanced Therapy chapel, located at1071 Varnum Avenue in Lowell.

Charting Your Course

A one-session program provides information about social work services and programs and an overview of financial issues to newly diagnosed patients and their families. For questions or to register please call Meg Lemire-Berthel, MSW at 978-937-6142.

This program will be presented in September and March.

Getting Beyond Cancer

A general patient/family support group – this group offers support, education, and resource planning. Support persons encouraged to attend. For questions or to register please call Sandy Mansur, LICSW of Merrimack Valley Hospice at 978-420-7253.

Meets the second Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in D'Youville Center for Advanced Therapy chapel, located at 1071 Varnum Avenue in Lowell.

G.O.A.L. (Go On And Live)

This is a social group for patients and family members who have been affected by cancer in some way. For questions or to register Karen at 978-453-4363.

Meets every 6-8 weeks for various group events and outings.

Now What...Life After Loss

A support group for people who have experienced a significant loss. Group discussions include taking care of yourself, managing your grief, and moving on with life.
