Lowell General Hospital Named to U.S. News & World Reports 2011-2012 Best Hospitals Ranking and Cleverley + Associates’ Top Community Value Provider

National recognitions awarded for gynecology services and for high quality, cost-effective patient care

July 22, 2011 – Lowell, Mass. – Lowell General Hospital announced two national recognitions today that bolster the independent hospital's momentum towards becoming a best community hospital in the country.

Today, the U.S. News & World Reports 2011-2012 Best Hospitals ranking identified Lowell General Hospital among the high-performing hospitals in the nation for Gynecology services in addition to being among the top 16 Metropolitan Boston hospitals.

"This newest ranking by U.S. News & World Reports is a testament to the scope and breadth of the services provided at Lowell General Hospital as well as the talented physicians who trust in us to support them in surgery, diagnostic care and treatment," says hospital CEO and president, Normand Deschene.
