October 10th & 11th: Interactive community forums to share the findings of the health assessment

Members of the community are invited to two upcoming community forums to share their perspectives on a health needs study that identifies the unmet medical and public health needs within Greater Lowell. Researchers and students from the University of Massachusetts Lowell conducted the study on behalf of Lowell General Hospital and the Greater Lowell Health Alliance. The assessment will provide valuable direction to Lowell General Hospital and many Greater Lowell community organizations in addressing unmet needs.

"To best meet the needs of our patients and the community as a whole, it is important to learn more about the key factors contributing to chronic disease and the challenges facing members of our community and how they affect their health," said Michelle Davis, RN, MS, Vice President of External Affairs for Lowell General Hospital and chair of the Greater Lowell Health Alliance. "We are looking forward to engaging our community in this exciting process."

Lowell General Hospital and the Greater Lowell Health Alliance will host two interactive community forums to share the findings of the health assessment on the following dates:

  • Thursday, October 10 from 5:00-6:30pm at the Tewksbury Police Community Room, 918 Main Street, Tewksbury
  • Friday, October 11 from 9:00-10:30am at the Roudenbush Community Center, 65 Main Street, in Westford

Members of the community are invited to join the sessions to share their perspectives on the findings. For more information, please call 1-888-LGH-WELL.
