This FREE program is centered on education and support for everyone affected by stroke (survivors, family members, friends, etc.). The evening will feature a dinner, nurse experience, survivor testimonial, and a presentation on the psychological and physical aspects of life after stroke. The youth of our community are being lured to try new tobacco products that are "disguised" as mints, candy, even hand cream In this FREE workshop you will learn about the dangers of new tobacco products and gain useful information to help you identify the signs and ways you can prevent our youth from experimenting. Wednesday, September 15th from 6:00-7:00pm in the Pollard Library (401 Merrimack Street, Lowell)

Over 200 Lowell General Hospital employees filled the stands at the Lowell Spinners ballgame at LeLacheur Park on August 10th. Employees wore their red t-shirts to show support for the new Strike Out Heart Disease promotion the hospital has sponsored. But they weren’t the only ones in red. REMINDER: THE CANCER CENTER TUNNEL IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED There is no longer access from the interior of the main hospital building to the Cancer Center. Patients should use the Service Entrance to access the main entrance of the Cancer Center and its parking lot.
