Basics for Babies

Babies don't come with instruction manuals!

This workshop is designed for new and expectant parents and grandparents focusing on parenting, feeding issues, sleep and behavioral issues as well as immunizations. There will also be an opportunity to have your specific questions answered by the presenting pediatrician.

About the Presenter

Dr. Irving Newman, of Drumhill Pediatrics PLLC, is a board-certified pediatrician who attended medical school at the University of Miami and completed his internship at the Medical College of Virginia. His Pediatric residency was done at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in New York. While his Neonatology fellowship was completed at Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital.

Dr. Newman was a Major in the NSA-Medical Corp. and was stationed at Asmara Ethiopia. Currently, Dr. Newman is an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts Medical School and at Penn State Medical School. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Nurse Practitioner program at Mass General Hospital. Additionally, he is a Senior Clinical Professor at Boston College.
