Support Services/Wellness Programs
At The Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, we understand that cancer touches virtually every aspect of your life, as well as the lives of all family members. With that in mind, we have a variety of services to assist you and your family including Support Services and Complementary Care Programs.
Support Services
We offer a variety of support groups to help you and your family members cope and learn from the experiences of others. We are pleased to offer the area's only support groups geared to help children and teens deal with a loved one's cancer. These groups are age appropriate and offer a wide range of group activities as well as one-to-one counseling. All our support groups are available to any cancer patient/family at no cost. Prevention and Screening Programs
Throughout the year the Lowell General Hospital Cancer Program works collaboratively with the American Cancer Society and local community physicians to provide screening and prevention programs such as skin, prostate and oral cancer screening.
