Individual Giving
Making a Difference in Many Ways
Gifts come in all sizes and many shapes. There are many ways of giving that enable you to meet your philanthropic goals while supporting the patient care needs of Lowell General Hospital. We invite you to review some of the established funds and gifts and call us with any questions you may have. We would be happy to help you decide which option best meets your charitable interests.
Development Office: 978-937-6430
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Contributions to the Annual Fund
The Annual Fund supports areas of greatest need within the hospital. This type of gift is critical because it gives the hospital the flexibility to direct funds toward urgent patient care priorities. Gifts are welcomed throughout the year and applied to a number of areas throughout the hospital.
Leadership Giving
Naming opportunities within the hospital begin at $25,000. At this level, designated contributions may be made to a certain area of medicine - such as cancer, cardiology, emergency care. The Development Office ensures that your gift will be directed specifically for the purpose you request.
Make a leadership gift donation today or contact us for more information in choosing the best form of contribution.
Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts may be made to honor someone who you want to recognize, to celebrate a survivor, to honor or memorialize a person who has died or to show appreciation for a caregiver. Tribute gifts are a thoughtful way to show appreciation for the care given to a loved one and to know that your contribution will continue to help others. You may wish to use a Tribute Gift to mark a birthday, anniversary or other occasions to honor a friend, physician, nurse or other caregiver or a loved one.
Such gifts fittingly continue the wonderful influence of those for whom they are named by helping Lowell General Hospital provide its patients with exceptional medical care. Names of those honored are published in the Development Fund newsletter and a notification is promptly sent to the person/family in whose name your gift is given.
Please contact us for a Tribute brochure, which includes postage-paid envelopes.
Matching Gifts
A corporate matching gift is a great way to leverage your donation to Lowell General Hospital. A matching gift means that your personal donation is matched by your employer to double the total benefit of your contribution. It is your employer's way of helping you to support those organizations and causes that you feel are important. Please contact your employer's Human Resources Office to inquire about their matching gift policy and to obtain the necessary form to multiply your gift dollars.
