Joseph (Jody) White
Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Jody White joined Lowell General Hospital in 2003.
Mr. White brings to Lowell General more than 25 years of healthcare experience, most recently serving as Vice President at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT, where he was responsible for overseeing outpatient, ambulatory care and diagnostic services. In his role at Lowell General, White is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital.
Prior to his appointment to LGH, White served at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT. from 1991. After serving as Administrative Director of Emergency Services and Assistant Vice President, Mr. White was named Vice President of Administration in 1994. His accomplishments during his tenure at Middlesex Hospital included the planning, design and operation of a new Cancer Center and a new diagnostic cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Prior to his career at Middlesex Hospital, White served as Director of The Emergency Medical Services Institute of Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT; he began his career as an emergency paramedic in Stamford. White holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of New Haven in New Haven, CT, and a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT.
