Diana Cosgrove, Patient Service Aide

Radiology Department, Main Campus

“Diana is devoted to her role at Lowell General and is an inspirational person that sees the positive side in all aspects of life. Rain or shine, Diana is smiling. She strives for excellence in patient care and goes out of her way to make sure her patients are taken care of. No one else is more deserving of this recognition than Diana” is how co-workers describe Diana Cosgrove, February’s Star Performer of the Month.

Diana joined the Radiology Department at the Lowell General main campus in 2002. Throughout the years, she has performed bone density tests, ordered exams, called physician offices for orders, and worked in the file room. During her daily interactions with patients and their families, Diana is attentive and caring, always making sure that every patient is treated well and feels comfortable to approach her with any questions they may have.

“Diana is a great example of how important it is to have an uplifting mood and great attitude. She is a wonderful asset to the Radiology Department, always greeting everyone with a warm smile. She will do anything to help out; no job is too big or too small for her to take on,” said Karen Clancy, RTRM.

Diana is an extraordinary person with lots of positive energy. She goes beyond expectations and her personality, dedication, motivation and commitment are the great qualities which make her such a wonderful person inside and out.

“Everyone speaks highly of Diana, especially bone density patients who arrive two years later. They remember her and the way she treated them, and the first thing they ask is for when they come to the department is to see Diana,” said Xionara Duffis, Radiologic Technologist.

Diana lives in West Newbury and loves spending time with Charlie and her grandchildren, who live in West Newbury and Florida. She enjoys finding hidden treasures at yard sales and skiing the bunny slopes with her grandchildren. She is also an avid gardener and animal lover.

Congratulations Diana! You’re a Star!
