Tatiana Schultz, JD, CPHRM

"Tatiana is supportive to staff, and approachable with any question, concern, or consultation, any day, any time." This is just one of many sentiments that a fellow staff member used to describe Tatiana Schultz, Risk Manager with our Regulatory Compliance Department.

Tatiana began her career at Lowell General Hospital in 2007 in the Regulatory Compliance Department. In her role as Manager of Risk and Patient Safety, Tatiana develops and presents educational programs to promote patient safety initiatives, as well as examining policies and documentation to ensure we deliver the safest and highest-quality patient care. Tatiana brings a strong legal background to her role, having earned her law degree in 1989, as well as receiving her Certification in Professional Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Hospital Association in 2011.

Tatiana's dedication to her profession, as well as her co-workers, is evident every day. For example, Tatiana developed a one-hour educational training based on the identified needs specifically for ED staff on safety reporting. She is known for her professionalism, approachable nature, and sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.

"Tatiana presented at Emergency Department skills day in January to assist our staff in their training needs," said Diane Regan, RN, BSN, Director of Emergency Services. "I have also consulted her during off hours, and she is always readily available to discuss any issue at hand. She is highly accountable and a true example of how to live by the standards of performance."

Tatiana lives in Whitinsville, MA, and in her spare time enjoys running, reading, photography, and playing golf.
