Jim Senior

"He always looks as if he enjoys being here... you can tell that he loves his job!" This is how co-workers describe the shining personality of Jim Senior, our September Star Performer of the Month.

Jim began his career in Environmental Services in 1999. Currently, he is responsible for keeping the Lab clean, stocked, and organized, and is known for his friendliness and attention to detail, and always going the extra mile. In addition, he is known for his respect for other coworkers - always paying attention to what staff are doing as to not interrupt. He will always check and recheck the area to make sure that he has not missed anything.

"Jim is wonderful. On numerous occasions, he has helped with tasks that are unrelated to his job 'simply because'. If he sees you doing something and feels that you could use some help, he ALWAYS offers his assistance. He is a fabulous employee and very well-liked throughout our department. Whenever we have any kind of dinner or pot luck in the lab, we always try to include him," says Donna Hammond, Lab Clerk.

"Jim is so friendly and polite all the time. He will always ask how your evening is going. He takes pride in his job and does it well," says Karen Zabel, Medical Technician.

Jim is from Pepperell, MA, and in his spare time loves outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, working in the yard, and splitting wood.
