Mary Gauthier"She's the "go-to-gal" in the department - always responsible, helpful and considerate," is how co-workers describe Mary Gauthier, our April Star Performer of the Month.

Mary began her career here in 2008 as administrative assistant for the PHO. She wears many hats in her multi-faceted role to keep the PHO organized and running smoothly. She is known for always going above and beyond by taking on new projects, such as becoming part of the PHO Referral Management Team. She never hesitates to put in extra hours to help prepare for the many PHO meetings.

"Mary has great personality and she builds a wonderful rapport with the PHO physician members and their office staff," says Katie Roy, Provider Relations Representative. "Throughout all the changes the PHO has been going through with insurance contracts, she plays a huge supporting role to ensure that the PHO's initiatives are a success. This is a great benefit to the department, LGH and our affiliated offices."

Mary brings this same level of committment to her co-workers. For example, when there is a new employee in the department, Mary will go out of her way to make them feel welcome. She always looks to provide the PHO employees with tools to help them complete tasks more easily.

Mary lives in Chelmsford with her boyfriend Brian McHale and her two children Molly and Mara. In her spare times she enjoys traveling to Hawaii with her family, going to music concerts and getting together with friends.
