Michelle Davis, RN, MS

Vice President of External Affairs

Michelle DavisMichelle Davis, RN, MS serves as Vice President of External Affairs and is responsible for providing operational leadership to core administrative areas of the hospital, including Marketing and Public Relations, Community Health and Wellness, Service Culture, Philanthropy, as well as Special Projects. She also serves as chair of the Greater Lowell Health Alliance, a Circle Health organization comprised of healthcare providers, business leaders, educators, civic and community leaders with a common goal to help the Greater Lowell community identify and address its health and wellness priorities.

Ms.Davis began her career with Lowell General as the Manager of Community Health and Wellness, advancing her role as the Director of Marketing Operations and Community Development. She also became the Director of the Legacy Project Transition, in which she led the hospital's transition with the construction of Lowell General's large-scale construction project that will be completed in December 2012.

Outside of the hospital, Ms. Davis is an active participant in many community organizations, and currently serves as a board member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) of MA. She received the ACHE MA Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent's Award for 2011, and recently received Merrimack Valley Business Magazine's "40 under 40" award, which recognizes young people making a big difference in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

Ms.Davis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aging Studies from Plymouth State College, an Associate's degree in Nursing from Northern Essex Community College, and a Master of Science degree in Health Management and Policy from University of Massachusetts Lowell.
