Karen McArdle, RN, MPH

Vice President of Physician Services

Karen McArdleKaren McArdle, RN, MPH serves as Vice President of Physician Services. With more than two decades of leadership positions dedicated to physician relations, recruitment, and management of physician practices, she is responsible for the growth and strategic planning for all Circle Health physicians, their practices, and employees, as well as management of real estate leases and purchases.

Ms. McArdle came to Lowell General in 1999 and established the Physician Services Department, where she led the development of Lowell General's hospitalist program and launched successful physician recruitment and retention programs. She is also an administrative member of the hospital's Medical Executive Committee and brings vast experience in healthcare and physician relations to her role, having previously held leadership roles with Harvard Community Health Plan and Lahey Clinic.

Outside of the hospital, Ms. McArdle is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, ACHE of Massachusetts and the Medical Group Management Association. In 2012, she completed the Massachusetts Hospital Association Leadership Series.

Ms.McArdle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, an Associate's degree in Nursing from Rivier College and a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University.
